So pleased in fact were NHS Calderdale that they had no hesitation in nominating their recent Mill Group DVD ‘Relationships and Me’ for recognition at the 2009 Annual HSJ (Health Service Journal) Awards ceremony.

Produced to capture the thoughts, feelings and emotions of young people with disabilities in Calderdale, who simply wanted to express how they felt about themselves and their relationships, the DVD challenges all young people to realise that they are not alone in sharing a universal truth about their own ability to love and be loved.

Now being shown to discussion groups nationwide, in schools, youth groups and disabled people’s forums  ‘Relationships and Me’ never fails to encourage participation from young people eager to share their views on a sensitive issue.
