The Golden Thread

In common with Mill’s wide-ranging list of commercial and public service clients the TSA (Tenant Services Authority) and landlords listened and learned during the TSA’s recent countrywide tenant consultation - The National Conversation.

Liveried in an attention-grabbing shade of pink two of our VW Comments Campervans, complete with interview/film crews on board, toured the country from Cornwall to Carlisle gaining a detailed insight into tenants’ views of their social landlords.

TSA Chief Executive Peter Marsh kicked off the tour in Lewisham by stepping on board one of the campervans to conduct the first interviews and later described the process publicly as creating: “…a golden thread of communication between doorstep and boardroom”.
Commenting after his day in Lewisham, Peter Marsh said:
“I am delighted at the feedback…from all kinds of tenants, of all ages, backgrounds and experiences” and went further in his speech to the TSA National Conference following the eight-week exercise:
“The pink campervans have returned to The Mill Group to service other customers - one of whom I believe is Tesco and we had over 27,000 successful engagements with customers through that process”.

Graham Welch, TSA’s External Communications’ Manager works closely with The Mill Group on many other issues and commented:
“Working with The Mill Group helps make things easier. Their experience in housing allows them to be up and running very quickly, as they understand what we are setting out to achieve. Their professionalism - and their ability to hit deadlines, no matter how tight - means we know we can rely on them to deliver”.
